The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation announced its expansion to provide specialized training programs in the travel and tourism sector aiming to keep pace with the growth of the tourism sector in the Kingdom, to achieve the 2030 vision.
TVTC declared that it is currently working on the operation of (15) training facilities specialized in the fields of travel and tourism in different regions of the Kingdom, offering training programs to around (21) thousand trainees, whether by direct operation of those facilities or through partnership with companies specialized in travel and tourism to meet the needs of qualified national cadres.
The Corporation added that it has also provided specialized sections in the fields of tourism and hospitality in a number of technical colleges for boys and girls, in order to provide trainees with several specialized skills, most notably: travel agent business; booking, cancelling and modifying of reservations; tickets issue and travel documents; planning tourism programs; preparation of sales reports; and travel regulations and conditions.
It is worth mentioning that the TVTC seeks within its plans to expand the operation of more specialized training facilities, and to create and develop quality programs for trainees in the field of travel and tourism. This process aims to support the tourism sector in the Kingdom through qualified Saudi youth to work in this sector which is witnessing a rapid growth.
