TVTC and the Red Sea project signed a Memorandum of Cooperation
Technical and Vocational Training Corporation and the Red Sea Company signed a memorandum of cooperation at TVTC’s headquarter in Riyadh as part of TVTC’s attempts to achieve Vision 2030. This is an essential step towards developing the local workforce and creating thousands of job opportunities for both men and women in tourism and hospitality. The underlying principles of cooperation between different sectors are addressed to achieve total development, as envisaged by the Saudi Leadership.
The partnership between the TVTC and the Red Sea project will provide the necessary qualification, training, and practical experience to meet the tourism sector's needs in the Kingdom with appropriate jobs.
According to the memo, about 1300 Saudi male and female students will be trained, qualified, and employed to secure suitable jobs in the mega projects lately launched in the country.
It must be noted that training will focus on basic skills needed in tourism, accommodation, and hospitality. Students will receive international and local training at the highest standards boosted by strategic sponsorship offered by TVTC, which will ensure the training outcome quality and graduates’ suitability to work in Red Sea’s projects.
In this context, His Excellency the Governor of TVTC, Dr. Ahmed bin Fahd Al-Fahaid confirmed that "this agreement comes as a sense of the complementary role between TVTC and Red Sea project to contribute to national development and support tourism efforts, as well as investing in the local workforce and carefully qualifying them to enable ambitious development plans, which is the main goal of the Vision 2030. We in TVTC also carefully supply the ever-growing tourism sector with a young local trained workforce."
Al Fahaid added that this cooperation with the Red Sea project allows our sons and daughters to become active contributors to Vision 2030. We in TVTC are happy that our graduates are part of the Red Sea ambitious project. We furthermore welcome any agreement or cooperation that should create job opportunities in different areas and across our beloved Kingdom.
