Using the Electronic training Gate at TVTC, exams were conducted remotely in all theoretical disciplines. Capacity and servers were increased to comply with the needs and to provide a stable and secure experience while testing trainees. A hotline with technical support at Blackboard in the US was also introduced to perform support operations to all registered trainees in different disciplines to provide services efficiently and swiftly. Work was carried out round the hour to provide services to users of the Electronic Gate.
Efforts were dedicated to responding to the expected additional load on the Electronic Gate. In total, 29209 support, introduction, and awareness requests were performed throughout this semester. The denial of over 60,000 trainees was also resolved to enable them to perform their exams electronically via the Electronic Training Platform.
TVTC's Governor Dr. Alfahaid expressed his gratitude for the General Administration of Electronic Training's efforts. He confirmed that the technical infrastructure and the electronic training that TVTC has been working on for years, along with the presence of qualified trainers, contributed to the success of implementing remote exams smoothly and efficiently.
He also confirmed that all efforts spent contributed to the overall wellbeing of the trainees and their abilities. Eventually, these efforts should help accomplish the government's ambitious goals towards developing qualified local cadres as part of Vision 2030, which TVTC aspires to reflect on its training outcomes.
