The Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic had sign MOU with NOSA company which provide occupational health and safety services. The MOU includes prospects of Cooperation in training and development. The agreement also includes exclusive marketing rights of NOSA programs within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries where SESP, under this agreement, is the exclusive agent of NOSA.
The agreement was signed by the Institute's Chairman and CEO of Power Transmission Company Eng. Laith Bin Ahmed Al Bassam and NOSA CEO, Mr. Duncan Carlisle. The signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Khalid Altaaimi, Executive Vice President of Energy Generation and SESP Board Member, The chargé d’affaires of the South African Embassy in Riyadh, and On behalf of TVTC, Eng. Walid Basuleiman, Director of Strategic Partnerships. This agreement comes within the of the partnerships of SESP and international companies.
The institute provides the highest efficiency training through collaboration with international partners and recruitment of high skilled and experienced trainers in industrial facilities in all aspects of the energy sector.
Moreover, its provides internationally recognized certificates in the field of health, safety, welding technology and others. the number of specializations provided by SESP is twenty-four in Energy fields.
The Institute was previously accredited by Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) in nine vocational disciplines as a high diploma in electricity services at SSESP. The accredited specializations are, Mechanical power plants, electrical cables, and maintenance of air transport lines, steam stations, precision machines, welding etc., as it currently works to get The Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training ACCET.
TVTC ran SESP in partnership with the Saudi Electricity Company to qualify Saudi cadres to work in the field of electric power. It's has three branches in the cities and provinces of the Kingdom, the first in Bisha - Jazan was founded in 2012, the Eastern Region was founded in 2013, and the last in Riyadh was founded in 2014.
