Technical and Vocational Training Corporation obtained the first place at the initiative "K.S.A is Programming", the initiative was launched by Misk Charity Foundation aiming to contribute to Saudi Arabia's global progress in the digital and innovative fields. The initiative offers short and enjoyable lessons to teach the basics of programming and logical thinking to all segments of society.
HE Dr. Ahmad bin Fahad Al-Fuhaid, Governor of Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, received in Riyadh on Saturday the corporation was honored by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology HE Eng. Abdullah Bin Amer Al-Suawahah, in the presence of HE Mr. Bader Al-'Aasaker, Department Board Chairman of Misk Initiatives Center, for the achievement that the corporation has accomplished, at the level of the participating government agencies, where its topped the list of participants as the largest participation percentage in the initiative. The trainee at Technical College in Tannumah Abdulaziz Al-Barqi, a member of the team "Swarat Al'aamal", has achieved the first place in the Idea Competition (Ideathon). The idea of their initiative is to wear the diabetic patient a bracelet to alert it of potential risks such as metals, heat and cold.
The Governor of Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, Dr. Ahmad bin Fahad Al-Fuhaid, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the initiative participants of the Corporation staff that achieved this accomplishment, emphasising at the same time that the Corporation has the capabilities and qualified national cadres to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom vision 2030, which depends on the human element in many of its programs.
It is noteworthy that the number of registered in the Misk initiative in its second phase amounted to more than 1026000 registered from different ages groups.
