Six technical college trainees won the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva in its 47th edition. It comes as an extension of the 10th Technical Innovations Competition held by Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, and attended by trainees from technical colleges and institutes. More than 800 inventions at the 47th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, and From 40 countries in 21 fields of industry, telecommunications, health and others, in addition to the participation of international organizations of invention, related parties and specialized companies.
The trainee at Technical College in Riyadh, Majid Sa'eed Al-Harbi, won the gold medal for innovate an automatic opening and closing cup, as well as a special award from Universitatea Lucian Blaga Din Sibiu from Romania. The trainee from Communications and Electronics College in Jeddah, Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Khoja, received the gold medal for innovate the smart rubbish container. The trainee of Technical College in Dammam, Ali Ayedh al-Shihri, won the silver medal for innovate electricity production of sand, in addition to obtaining a special award from Technopol Moscow from Russia. The trainee from Communications and Electronics College in Jeddah, Abdulrahman Mohammad Al-Harbi, won the silver medal for innovate the economizer air conditioner. The trainee of Technical College in Riyadh, Ayed Suliban Al-Harbi, won the bronze medal for innovate the smart rubbish container. In addition, the trainee Waleed Mohammad Abdulqhader from Technical College of Al-Madinah won the bronze medal for innovate easy stored table.
The Corporation has a program to encourage innovations through talents centers in a 24 technical colleges, which Conducting many competitions in the professional fields. The Corporation has recently managed a forum in Al-Ahsa for talented of all over colleges and institutes to honored the winners with certificates of recognition and financial rewards.
