Al-Fuhaid Sponsors the Graduation of 163 Saudi Students of ITQAN Institute
Dr. Ahmed Al-Fuhaid, the Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Sponsored the graduation ceremony of the first batch of 163 Saudi Students from the Inspection Technology and Quality Assurance National Institute ITQAN in the eastern region.
Al-Fuhaid confirmed that TVTC is seeking through ITQAN, which supervised by the Colleges of Excellence since 2015, to strengthen the strategic partnership with the major industrial companies in the Kingdom, including Saudi Aramco and Petro Rabigh, to provide young people with the necessary skills in the field of technical inspection techniques and quality assurance.
TVTC governor explained that the institute focuses on training high school graduates in the examination techniques in order to qualify them to work in the energy sector in the future. He said that the Institute offers diploma degree who have completed the requirements of the degree in two years in the fields of electrical and mechanical inspection, welding, civil inspection and non-destructive tests, enabling them to work as an electronic inspector, a civilian inspector, a mechanical inspector, an inspector of welding, an inspector of non-exhaustive tests.
Al-Fuhaid pointed out that the Institute is running by the use of international expertise, where the British College of Interserve operates the Institute, in accordance with the highest standards.
TVTC expanded the strategic partnerships institutes with private sector, reaching 25 institutes and targeting 35 institutes by 2020 to keep up with 2030 vision and qualifying national cadres in new fields in several areas needed by the labor market.
