
The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation has signed here a memorandum of understanding with the Directorate General of Narcotics Control. The MoU was aimed at reducing the spread of dangerous drugs and protection of the society from its dangers and harmful effects.
The MoU was signed at the TVTC Headquarters in Riyadh by the Governor of the TVTC Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis and the Director General of Drug Control Directorate Major General Othman bin Nasser Al Muharraj.
Seizing this opportunity, the Governor stressed the keenness of the TVTC on supporting the aims and objectives of the Directorate General educate the community about the harmful effects of drugs and work together to combat this scourge among its members and limit its spread.
The Governor said that the two parties will work hand in hand to activate the program through implementing awareness campaigns at Colleges, Institutes and Centers of the TVTC.
On his part, Major General Osman said that he was happy for signing this important agreement with the TVTC, adding that this cooperation between the two parties indicates the important role played by the Directorate in combating drugs and educating the community about the harmfulness of drugs. The general explained that the two parties will soon identify the areas of cooperation between them for the purpose of protection from drugs and implement a program for that purpose.
