Technical and Vocational Training Corporation plans to launch training programs in the field of renewable energy the next year at 5 technical colleges in Riyadh, Hail, Al-Madina, Al-Jawf and Tabuk.
The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Governor Dr. Ahmad bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid assure that the Kingdom is testifies many decisions and projects that benefit the country due to the wisdom and ambition of the leadership, which aims to invest natural resources, especially in the field of renewable energy; In order to achieve the 2030 vision of increasing the gross domestic product, and the diversity of income sources.
Dr. Al-Fuhaid pointed out that the Corporation was keen to keep up with these initiatives by providing training opportunities for Saudis to qualify them in this field, which is the result of joint cooperation between the Corporation, Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources and King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy.
Al-Fuhaid added that the country's move towards renewable energy will move the Kingdom towards globalization. All the world today is examining the increasing need to diversity energy sources. The Kingdom has natural potential to benefit from the huge opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
It is noteworthy that the General Technical and Vocational Training Corporation has launched the strategic transformation program based on the vision of the Kingdom of 2030 and the National Transition Program 2020, with the aim of developing its strategy and launching the initiatives and necessary specialties to achieve them, and raise awareness and change the current concept about technical and vocational training at the community.
