
The 6th Saudi Technical Conference and Exhibition has concluded its activities yesterday. The conference which began activities on Sunday at King Fahd Cultural Center in Riyadh, was held under the auspices of His Royal Highness Crown Prince, Deputy Premier Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, Sultan bin Abdul Aziz was also attended by His Excellency the Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation Dr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Ghafis.
Participants of the Conference have all agreed that the labor market aims at taking the advantage of the technical and economic development taking place in the Kingdom now a days, this, they stressed requires the technical and vocational institutions to respond positively to raise the effectiveness of training and to develop the skills of labor to meet the needs of the labor from skilled manpower.
The participants also reviewed their experiences and strategies to provide training equipment for technical and vocational training institutions because the suitability of these equipment to the requirements of training is one of the foundations which make training a success.

Experts at the conference also expressed gratitude to the Government of the Custodian of the Two holy Mosques for its hospitality and generosity and thanked the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation for the first-class organization of the Conference and the accompanying Exhibition.
It shall be noted that the Conference has discussed during its three day of deliberations seven main themes, these are:
Quality assurance programs in technical and vocational training, economics of human resources development, employment skills at training institutions, technical and vocational training and labor market needs: bridging the gap, career guidance: a tool for success, training of employees of institutions of technical and vocational training: challenges and future prospective, and effective strategies for the provision of training equipment to technical and vocational training institutions.
