There are economic and space obstacles which hinder the establishment of trainee projects in most Training Colleges and Institutions. The TVTC’s plan to overcome these obstacles was to adopt virtual labs technology. These are programmed labs that emulate real labs that assist the trainee in conducting distance laboratory experiments.
These labs also enable the student to understand difficult concepts. The student could conduct any number of experiments using these labs. These virtual labs could also carrout virtual experiments for most iedeas contained in the curriculum which is impossible to obtain by traditional labs because of the limited lab hours and the limited number of labs.
So, the automation studio program was selected for use.
