The objective of the Directorate General for Private Training is to encourage Private Training so that it contributes to fulfill the needs of the local labor market through issuing permits and licenses for the establishment of private training institutions and supervise the performance of these institutions by setting certain standards for them to follow.

This Directorate is under the Deputy Governor for Support Services.
Tasks:
· 1. To supervise the preparation of plans and budgets of private training in the framework of the general objectives and policies of the TVTC and then follow up the implementation after approval.
2. To supervise Departments of the Directorate and coordinate their work to ensure integration of their activities and take advantage of available potentialities.
3. To supervise the implementation of policies, rules, and regulations regarding private training and the departments it supervises.
4. To propose training policies and plans in the private training and review them according to the needs of the labor market.
5. To prepare standards, procedures and regulations organizing private training and encourage and motivate investment in this vital sector and follow up their implementation after approval.
6. To issue licenses for the establishment of private training institutes and supervise their performance and set their technical standards.
7. To supervise the evaluation and approval of trainees at the private Training according to the established procedures and controls.
8. To supervise the evaluation and approval of training programs implemented in private training institutions according to the established procedures and controls.
9. To supervise periodical evaluation of training in the private training institutes.
10. Encourage private training to obtain international recognition from approved organizations.
11. Develop a system for classification of private training institutes according to their performance and relevance of their courses with the needs of the labor market and then publicize the classification lists.
12. Encourage Private Training Institutions to adopt e-training.
13. Oversee agreement contracts and partnerships with private training companies and government organizations in order to participate in the supervision of private training organizations.
14. Supervise and update all data and information regarding of private training institutes–database-, organize them and save them in such a way as to make it easy to retrieve them.
15. To provide technical support and advice in the field of training at both the private and government sectors.
16. To provide advice to all administrative units in the TVTC on issues regarding the activities of private training.
17. To supervise the determining the manpower needs of the Directorate General and its Departments and follow up training and supplying such manpower.
18. To supervise specifying and supplying tools, devices and equipment needs of the Directorate General and its Departments, follow up and develop them.
19. To supervise the collection, classification and saving of data and information needed for progress of work at the Directorate General and its Departments, update and improve their saving and retrieving systems.
20. Carryout any other tasks assigned to it.
Sections:
1- License issuance, supervision and follow up Department
This department issues permits and licenses to private training institutions and implements regulations organizing private training and the approved decisions and instructions and follow up the activities of private training to ensure that they comply with elements of good training.
2- Performance and Trainee Affairs Monitoring Department
To evaluate the training process at the private sector training institutions in accordance with rules and regulations to ensure quality training and follow up trainee affairs.
3- Administrative and Financial Affairs
To evaluate the training process at the private sector training institutions in accordance with rules and regulations to ensure quality training and follow up trainee affairs.
